On Sunday 7 June 2020, Thrive Industry Network hosted the last day of Cre8_48. It was 48 hours of creative talks, workshops, performances, tips… basically a creative person’s dream resource and I was invited to speak alongside some pretty heavy-weight social change creatives from across the globe.
Thank you Kevon Foderingham of East Yard and For Common Good, The Podcast for inviting me to join Meschida Phillip of 1261 Film Festival and Mandisi Sindo of KASI RC – Shack Art School & Theatre – two truly inspiring forces for social change through the arts. It was an absolute pleasure to discuss Arts for Social Change and Community Outreach with you all. I really enjoyed hearing about the work that Meschida and Mandisi are doing around this topic and to share my own work with such a wide audience.
