It was my day to be the “artist at work” at the Royston Arts Society’s 2015 Spring Exhibition. I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to paint but the urge to connect some paint with a blank canvas was riding me hard. Blue seemed to be calling my full name so I got to thinking about water. A quick google search later and I’d found a few images of water that sparked my interest. So quickly, before I could think about it too much, I squeezed some Prussian Blue onto my palette, grabbed a large brush and began to get rid of the white.
30 minutes later in between a bit of chatting with exhibition guests, ‘Water’ turned up. I stood back and grinned.
