Description
A bit of a panic piece, this one.
Just under a month to my first solo exhibition and I realised “Stacey, you don’t have enough unframed pieces to sell”.
So in a fit of panic, I whipped out some heavy-duty card, pulled up some of my photos from the A505, grabbed a few tubes of paint and began to knock out a piece to make me feel just a wee bit less frantic. It worked… somewhat… 30mins later (it would have been 15 if I didn’t have to wait for the paint to dry in between!) I was only a little less frantic but I had this little beauty. It didn’t do much to calm me down, but it did spark a few new ideas and I quite like the simplicity of it. Simple, clean, and with little fuss, it definitely made me feel the wide open spaces that I drive by whenever I’m on the A505.
Job done!
